Aisha Jamila Hinds is a well-known American actress. She is known for her role in television series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has proved her ability in the role of actress with amazing performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her performance as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. It was, however, her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's right to rights) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor.
