Hallie Jackson is she is an American political journalist and analyst. Currently she's her White House reporter for NBC News. Furthermore, Hallie is an anchor on a number news shows which air on MSNBC. John Hopkins University awarded her an honorary degree in political science when she was born in Pennsylvania. Jackson began her career by working with CBS affiliates WBOC, WFSB and WBOC in Maryland Delaware Connecticut. After a short time she joined Hearst Corporation where she reported from Washington DC to their 26 TV stations. Jackson joined NBC News, in 2014. After one year at an initial year at the Los Angeles NBC station, Jackson moved into NBC News. With her superb coverage of several election campaigns and the Presidential election of 2016, she gained a reputation as a reliable journalist for the political world. She is a versatile and committed reporter. Jackson was commissioned to cover for the Ted Cruz presidential campaign and give exclusive interviews to important GOP presidential candidates. In 2017, NBC was able to appoint Jackson as their main White House correspondent. She's married to Douglas Hitchner. They have two daughters.
