Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty, born November 1, 1995 was raised in Berkeley, California. She is an actress, famous as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).
Asia Argento began her career as an actor in Rome. The family she is from is also a group of filmmakers. The actress made her film debut at age nine in Sergio Citti's Sogni bisogni. In 1988 she had become the main character of Cristina Comencini's Zoo as well as a part of Michele's The Church. The role she played as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di the vista, a physically handicapped girl, was a challenging and complex role that won it the David di Donatello award for best actor. She had a feature role in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. She was a part of Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli and won the David di Donatello award as well as the Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing as a career in 1994 and produced two shorts, an episode of De Generazione. The following year, in 1996, Asia made a document on her father. In 1998 was the year that Asia produced a feature film about Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), which was recognized with an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia was the director of her first feature in Scarlet Diva (1999), where she was both the main actress in the film and also the creator of its screenplay. It premiered worldwide in May 2000. The film was awarded an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
